pretty sure Heath signed for colchester permanently
i think we've sorted our one weakness, robinson playing wide right is crucial, we'll no longer be predictable and narrow, we can now play wide and open teams up
Riordan would be fucking brilliant, cant see it happening though, hes come across previosuly that he has tickets on himself, enjoys playing at the higher level etc..but time will tell i guess
one striker and left back away from an awesome team |

I was thinking the other day, after spending all that to get to Wembley, our lifes would be alot easier without Leeds! Save money, disappointment etc. Last five years we've had six managers, deducted 25 points, relegated twice, lost two playoff finals, lost all our heroes...
But we wouldn't have it any other way. When we get back to where we belong, it's going to be so fucking enjoyable. 'UPS AND DOWNS' hey!
Ever since getting back from UK, copped so much shit from people at school/old school/work etc....and they get angry cause we are so proud to be Leeds. I give them the salute and say 'leeds and proud of it'...They don't understand why we still follow them and hate that we are so proud to follow Leeds United Football Club, and thats what I love!

To all the newbies who've signed up recently, make sure you get involved with things here at Leeds United Victoria. It makes following Leeds so much easier when you've people to share the success and the sadness with...people to sing Leeds songs with you at the football, people to play football matches wearing Leeds kits....We have a solid core of 8-10 lads, but we'd love more people to get involved and meet some more Leeds lads.
MOT!!
Good post lad. |

Also what happened to Constantine - He was a GUN striker in this league before the season long injury (Him over Elding and tres is quite possible if hes still around) |

Can't believe I forgot him! Shows what a quality midfield, we can have....
Re: Leon, rumours are that the club cancelled his contract two weeks ago, nothing official, but it looks 95% sure he wont play for us again. |

Leeds United are unwilling to pay Celtic's £1m asking price for once-capped Scotland striker Derek Riordan, BBC Radio Leeds understands.
United previously tried to bring the 25-year-old former Hibernian star to Elland Road on loan in January.
Riordan scored over 60 goals in three seasons at Easter Road but has made only 13 starts since switching to Glasgow giants Celtic two years ago.
Championship outfit Burnley are also believed to be after the forward

£1m is too much, it was supposed to be half that...certainly not worth that much for him. |

Strange that the official site is reporting this. Would be immense!
Quote: Former England international Kevin Phillips is the latest big name striker to be linked with a move to Elland Road.
Celtic marksman Derek Riordan was the subject of Tuesday's media speculation, and the club's interest in Phillips was revealed in on Wednesday morning.
The player's agent Phil Smith confirmed that he has spoken with Gary McAllister about the out-of-contract striker, and the Leeds boss is making no secret about his desire to bolster his firepower.
The 34-year-old Phillips scorer 24 goals to help spearhead West Brom's Premiership return last term.
Macca is keeping silent about his targets, but he confirmed: "We are in the market, and we are looking at front men who can strengthen."
After the impact made by Dougie Freedman at the end of last season, Gary admits he is looking for an experienced man.
Jermaine Beckford was last season's leading goalscorer with 20 goals and is very much of the part Gary's plans for next season.
EDIT: Maybe not!
Quote: Kevin Phillips' agent has stated his client is 'unlikely' to join League One outfit Leeds United this summer.
The former England international is out of contract with newly-promoted West Brom following a prolific season with The Baggies.
With Phillips' future uncertain Gary McAllister's Whites had been linked with an audacious bid for the 34-year-old free agent.
Unlikely
However, his agent believes any potential move is unlikely and that Phillips would not even entertain the possibility of playing in League One had it not been a club of Leeds' size and stature.
"I've spoken to Gary but I told him that, out of courtesy, until such time as we've spoken to West Brom, we won't be holding conversations with anyone else," Phillips' agent Phil Smith, of First Artist, told the Yorkshire Evening Post.
"(League One) is not preferable and, to be perfectly honest, if it wasn't Leeds there would be nothing to discuss. It's unlikely that it would happen." |

Would be sensational but does seem unlikely.
The first article is from the official site and the second one is from Sky Sports btw. |

Some of this is old news but Sheehan has been signed to a permanent deal.
Constantine has been sold to Northampton and Seb Carole is trialing with Le Havre in France and looks set to move back home. Bit of a shame as I didn't mind Carole.
Interesting to note the differences between Constantine and Elding. Both on the outer and may struggle for opportunities. Leon has said he could have stayed but clearly would prefer guaranteed first team football whereas Elding wants to stay with our club and fight for a place! Be interesting to see how they both go. |

Paul Telfer has joined Leeds in Ireland and will trial in the next 2 games.
Not very good IMO. Old, getting worse and unspectacular. Would rather Ben Parker in that position.
When will Ken whip his chequebook out and just pay for Riordan FFS? |
