Hey everyone,
Myself and the committee at Trojan Athletic FC came together and chatted about the possibility of playing LUV in a friendly.
As it turns out, we've booked with the council the use of grounds on match day for 12 rounds, and we're only using it 9 time so we have three days spare.
So we thought we'd run a fundraiser tournament between us, Sunbury FC (kids off the darkside), LUV and OzSpurs. All profits would go to TAFC, who are running the event.
What the day would entail is as follows:
- 2 medium sided games (8 on
being played simaltaneously across the field; one half long ways for each game.
- Each team plays each other once in maybe 2 x 15 minute halves.
- Top two play off for a trophy, while the bottom two battle it out for the wooden spoon. Presentation at the end of the day, including best player, best goal etc as voted on by the TAFC panel of experts.
- Barbecue would be running, drinks would be aselling and memberships for all clubs involved would be getting good exposure as we are going to advertise the event.

I'll hit ya with a date ASAP, however it would be about 3 months from happening as we've gotta finish our season yet.
