Reasons to be positive:

1. We played poorly but are still in the game (thanks to Dougie);
2. We actually created a lot of chances (their GK played a blinder);
3. By the law of averages we shouldn't play as badly on Thursday; and
4. By the law of averages their GK should play as well on Thursday!
5. We beat them 3-2 last time we played, we could do it again (on agregate)
6. We still have Jesus on our side!
7. We are Leeds - KEEP FIGHTING

James your an idiot. Richardson was marking for 2nd goal but was left with far too much to do. When an opposition player overlaps like that, its the resposability of our winger to pick up his run, otherwise we end up being man on man at the back. Frazer had the option of closing down the man with the ball or tracking the
fullbacks run, and ofcourse his main aim is too shut down the
man with the ball. He rarely gave the ball away when in possesion and did what he had to defending. If Grahams ass didnt get in the way, and our wingers were tracking back, I think we'd all he praising him.
Hes obviously a boot boy when things arnt going our way.

He should have had some help, but everyone forgets how shit he is constantly because of the one good goal a season he scores...I've tried to like him, but I just can't, he doesnt play his position and wanders off up fwd....

I like most of you all got up this morning, hoping for a Victory but instead sat there and watched as we went down 2-1. i will admit i was disappointed but still hold onto hope that we can overturn the result come Friday Morning. My outllok on the game, Disappointing things to come out of the game 1: was the fact that we lost at home 2-1 and now we have an up hill battle to make the final 2: The few parts of the game we let Carlisle really control the play ie when the scored there 2nd goal they controlled the whole 5 or so mins after half time that lead to the goal, i dont even recall the ball going in our half untill after they scored 3: it took us untill we where down 2-0 to really start playing some attcking football ( even though there keeper did pull off a few fine saves in the first half). The Positives to come out of the game 1: Dougies late goal means that all we have to do is win now, we win by 1 then we have extra time we win by 2 then where through before that goal things looked grime. 2: I belive they played to there best, there keeper pulled off a string of really good saves, so i dont think they can get any better on the other hand we still have so much improvement left. 3: we play our best football when we have our backs against the wall and i feel that Leeds going into the match needing to score or its all over to be a good thing. 4: Where Leeds United we will always March On Together. Im looking forward to Friday morning

Carlisle came out away from home, underdogs and gave it the 'nothing to lose' attitude. As soon as they got 2-0 up, became the hunted and the favourites they struggled.
Friday will be a completely different game, roles
reversed and they will be the ones petrified to concede and when we do, the White
juggernaut will be bloody hard to stop.

lay in bed all night trying to get some shut eye before the game
so 12 became 1 and 2 then 3 and i was watching shit show after shit show
venturing to the fridge every now and again and finally decided i'd stay up and have 2 hours sleep after the game

Massive game, am strangely confident! Leeds chants got a bit of a run today, sitting with a couple of Scummers/Scousers on the bus, 'WE ARE GOING UP' etc etc. got a few weird looks but for some reason i reckon we can do it.
