What do you reckon?

Ankegren - 6 - I think he could've done better with the deflected goal, was caught too flat footed...He should've been on the ground by then. Apart from that he did what he needed to do...Came out well, kicked well and took balls off the heads of their strikers occasionally.

Richardson - 7 - So much heart, so much attacking intent, he runs all day. Wish he was brought up as a right winger because he knows how to play around our attacking area, but not so much in defense...Gave the ball away in bad positions and didnt challenge an awful lot. Still a very handy right back for this league in my opinion.

Michalik - 7 - Cant fault the two central defenders, kept their attacks coming from centre to a minimum and they passed the balls out wide/to midfield very well. Thought Michalik looked a little more assured then Huntington in the tackle and in the air though.

Huntington - 7 - Certainly not his worst game, still got a lot to learn...Takes to much time on the ball and it almost cost us on a few occasions. Real potential, not ready for the big games though yet IMO...I would prefer Marques any day.

Johnson - 8 - My M.O.M...Playing out of position, he tackled hard, nullified alot of the threats on the left hand side and got forward on plenty of occasions.

Kilkenny - 4 - Out of sorts, took the wrong option whilst on the ball on too many occasions and ghosted out of the game for long periods of time. Doesnt help being played out of position however, and did link up well occasionally.

Douglas - 5 - Ran hard but hasnt been the same since he came back from injury...Still seems a yard or so off the pace.

Howson - 4 - Not one of his better games...Almost cost us a goal with a mindless foray into our own penalty area at one point, however he did manage to break up the play occasionally. MUST fire up on thursday

Prutton - 6 - Ran his ass off all game, however hes a player that relies on other players movements so that he can run into space and find room for a pass or shot, and it wasnt that type of game. Tackles hard and distributes nicely, probably the pick of the bunch from the midfielders however thats not saying much.

Beckford - 4 - Frustrating performance, shot on the turn from outside the area too much when he would've been better served just holding the ball up/flicking it through. 60 minutes would've done him the world of good and judging off his reaction when he came off, he'll be hungry to prove a point on thursday.

Freedman - 7 - Thank god for this man...Even on an off day he still manages to pop up and find the back of the net. I thought he held on to the ball too long on occasions however he has the ability to change things in an instance which usually makes up for everything else.

Kandol - 5 - Typical performance...Works hard, but has a belief that he is more skilled then he actually is. The game suited him in the end and he caused alot of problems in the air as expected, however hes not the type of player thats gonna change a game on its heels.

Carole - 5 - Didnt get a huge chance to impress, when he came he seemed to play inside right alot as the ball wasnt going out to wide positions for him to do what he does best. Needs to play when Leeds are passing the ball well.

Hughes - 5 - Not enough time to do anything, all heart though.

I suppose the upside is is that their is plenty of room for improvement, and as soon as we went all guns blazing in the final 20 minutes Carlisle didnt have a sniff and you could tell they became vulnerable, eventually leading to a much needed goal.

I have alot of hope going into the second leg, would be happy if the team remained unchanged as I think they will want to go out and prove that they are the best team in the division and prove to the fans that Leeds United are the greatest club in the world.

Bring on friday morning.
