In the Leeds e-mail list they are calling the arbitration decision the Robert Mugabe factor - if Leeds had lost they would have announced it by now!!!!

Has been a really great year following Leeds.

After the pre-season will we/won't we debacles, as soon as the football started its been a really good season.

Highlights:
*Tres's early season form
*Becks season long form
*Dennis' perfect start to the season
*Signing Kilkenny & Freedman
*Clubs recognition of the fans - the emphasise by the club, website etc. has been mostly on the fans this season, which has been great.
*Garry Mac's success
*"Wot shirt am i wearin bruv"
*The continued growth of Leeds Vic!

Lowlights:
*Dennis departure & the way it came about
*Tres's late season form
*Douglas's ongoing injuries
*-15 obviously
*Losing to Huddersfield and other lowly teams

This season has been tremendous! It's remarkable to think that after starting on -15, we would lock in a playoff place with 1 game remaining! Unbelievable effort by all the players/coaches/managers who have been part of it and a MASSIVE effort by all the fans who continually kept showing up in numbers.

Also, remember we couldn't sign players until right before the season kicked off so to have put together a promotion squad in such little time is an amazing effort.

Great to have an enjoyable season for once. Hasn't happened much lately (excluding our playoff run in '06) so to be so dominant all year has been sweet!

It's gonna be disappointing if we don't get the points back as we should rightfully be going up but if we don't, I'm confident that we have the squad to progress through the playoffs.

Also I can't see anyway that the playoffs would be shown here in Oz - I've never seen a League 1 game on tv here and would question if anyone even had the rights...the only possible case would have to be like three years ago when West Ham were in the CCC playoff final...wasnt on TV in Oz...some rich Hammer paid Sky for the rights in Australia - was something like 10k and he showed it as his pub....

Congrats to Macca, been a huge effort to turn our season around so far, but i won't celebrate until we are promoted!!

Don't fox have the rights to League 1? Surely there has to be 1 place somewhere in Melbourne with Sky Sports? Has to be!

Otherwise, we'll have to just watch a link over the internet. But we'd have to pay for it so we get no buffering. It's possible to hook a computer up to a plasma so this could be the back-up plan. I'd be happy to have everyone around at mine for this but hopefully the pub works out.

I may be wrong but I remember reading somewhere that league one came packaged with the other leagues or something, anyhow it is possible that foxtel/setanta could buy it - I doubt that will happen given that clown garry or whatever is his name is in charge of programming. Will probably show 1994 NBL preseason tournament instead.
