United-supporting band Kaiser Chiefs are set for the biggest date so far - on home territory next year.

The lads have announced they will play at Elland Road on Saturday May 24 2008.

Special guests will include The Enemy and Kate Nash with others tbc.

The band and management popped into Elland Road at the weekend ahead of their big announcement, and the boys are already looking forward to a dream gig in their hometown.

It will be the first gig at Elland Road since the summer of 1991 when Happy Mondays were the headline act.

Tickets for the Kaisers gig go on sale at 9am on Saturday December 8.

Imagine attending that! What an awesome gig that will be.
