Hi everyone. Just moved to Tasmania from the UK (1 week ago). Keen to keep up to date with fellow Whites down under. Currently in Hobart, but Leeds born and bred. Shame that the good run came to an end at Carlisle on Saturday, but every game is now someones Cup Final to them so it'll get harder and harder for us.
Been to a few games this season all in front of big crowds for the League 1 teams - and the Championship and most of the Premiership. Ground stil limited to around 30,000 capacity due to closure of upper East Stand (apparently to open it would cost the club someting like £70,000/year in extra rates to the Council.
Lookingforward to making regular contact with everyone.
Best regards.

welcome mate, the more members the better.

on this topic, i really think we should look to approaching the perth and adelaide whites and trying to get all their members on here and run a 'leeds united australia' with us being the main base. i know it didnt work well in the past but imagine a forum with 150 lads on it all from oz, meeting up always on away trips etc and have a big 'national' once a year in a different state, say for instance in adelaide and EVERYONE tries to go....a weekend on the piss, watching old leeds videos singing leeds songs everywhere, taking over pubs and maybe a football tournament too.

interested in everyones thoughts.

Perfectly put.

I think we're the only active Leeds supporter group these days in Australia so it might be worth getting in contact with Adelaide and Perth, because we already have a few members from Sydney, Gosford, Tasmania and even Brisbane.

Dont know what happened with Leeds United Australia but I think WE can make it work.

We've invited the Adelaide and Perth whites to our forum before but they have both said thanks but no thanks. They're happy doing what they're doing.

Our supporter group is very different to the Adelaide and Perth groups. I think you'd find the majority of those lads don't jump on forums on a daily basis like us.

National meet ups would be class though.
