It was Happy Feet who took the three points at wembley stadium on sunday nights late kick off after they beat a spirited LUV side who could count themselves as unlucky not to get at least a point from the game.

It was a side the fans were getting used to seeing line up that took the field, with the inform McCabe in goals, the blossoming defensive partnership of Willoughby and Carolan up back and the dynamic strikeforce of Uhe and Kenner leading the change up front.

It had been a week and a half since the LSC had kicked a ball in anger, and it perhaps told as Happy Feets' dominative midfielder caught the Leeds defense napping and snuck a powerful drive in past a helpless McCabes far post.

Two quality goals each from Uhe, Kenner and Carolan were not enough to beat the well drilled and disciplined Happy Feet who shot with intent every time they had a sight on goal and if it wasnt for McCabe in goal, the scoreline could have been a lot worse. The whites at times looked lacklustre with sometimes only two players behind the ball exposing their defense time and time again.

The Whites had a chance to win it at the last second but desperate defending blocked Carolans snap shot and hense it will be left for Leeds to pick themselves up in time for next weeks clash.

Mmm a bit disappointing to lose but definitely a bit we can work on.

Wasn't really that happy personally - I felt I went in too early for a few challenges and ended up leaving Davo in strife - one which cost us a certain goal.

Playing as the central defender (ie: I'll sit back pretty much the whole game) it's really noticeable when we aren't tracking back. In the second half it was pretty bad - I'm not quick by any stretch of the imagination but when there's a couple on one there's no way we can keep them out. Obviously this will come with greater fitness and we were chasing the game so definitely reasons for it.

We weren't helped by the ref who came on MSN later that night and straight away said "sorry, I reffed shit" but he also noted how wasteful we were in front of goal which will come with time.

Great goals in the first half boys and Dave - you were a star.

Looking forward to next week's hitout!

Shattering loss to be a part of. The opposition was quality and we more than matched it and could of won, which is a very good sign!

We need to go votes, so everyone PM them to Dave, use 3,2,1 system and can't vote for yourself!

Because it was the first official game, everyone needs to submit their 3, 2, 1 votes for the "Happy Feet" fixture.

Votes will be compiled over the season and at the presentation night, the player with the most votes will be crowned as the "Leeds Service Crew Top Boy"! (thanks to Sammy for that award name). Mr. Green

I dunno if the captain wants to look after the votes or......? Maybe just by sending them via pm. kenner?

EDIT: Beat me to it Sammy.
