English Rugby or Aussie Rugby?
I watch out for the Rhinos results in England, and Im planning on watching the NRL this year to check out some stadium atmosphere for when new A-League teams sprout up. Hopefully get to a Storm game at well...Might take myself down the South End! |

Not a huge follower of the code. Obviously I'll get behind the Storm as I love Melbourne. I found myself watching them a little closer than usual last season possibly due to their great season.
Always watch the state games and an occasional international. Recall watching Leeds play Canterbury (think it was) a couple of years back at Elland Road.
Might get down to a few games next season. |

love the rhinos, love watching mcguire and senior tear sides to shreds, sadly not so great this year bowing out in the first final...
horsforth, when in uk, i have stayed at headingley lodge before, backing onto the cricket and rugby ground, great place, lovely little stadium for the rugby and prices of six quid for an adult for a seat and three for a spot in the terrace...no wonder football is falling and ruggers rising in leeds!
have a passing interest in storm, will attend a few games during winter at op, nothing better than being back in the pit!
just outta interest horsforth, howd you stumble across this site? ta mate, look fwd to your contributions!
MONNNN YOU RHINOS! |

until this year i was a typical aussie bloke
footy(afl) in winter and cricket in summer
several times me and my mate (both sports mad) would say we gotta go see storm or we gotta go see victory
round 22 of AFL for my Bombers was day b4 my first taste of "soccer"
40,000 at the Dome and i havent missed a home game since
same thing wont happen with the storm but i think this year will definitely see me try more sports instead of saying next game |

I have been to a couple of Rugby League games, they haven't really excited me much.
Its the kind of sport where I can't watch a whole game, but will check the results and see whats happening.
My mate used to play Melb. Storm under 18's so I kinda took a little interest in it. |

I actually went to the Rhinos stadium mid last year. Was a complete accident though. lol
Got to Leeds station and could see Elland Road in the distance. Was a nice day so I decided to walk there.
Got my direction slightly wrong so I ended up asking some locals for directions to Elland Road.
First 2 people had no idea where it was and then I finally found someone who knew. They gave me directions but unfortunately they sent me to the Rugby ground instead. haha. 35-40 minutes out of my way. |

I had a similar experience aswell. I asked the lady at the desk of my hotel where Elland Road was, she gave me some dodgy photocopied map and pointed an arrow going down a freeway with the title Allen Road!
Then, with me being lost, asked some locals, they had no idea. So asked some coppers, who pointed me in the wrong direction.
Ended up having to jump in a car with some strange bloke who drove me there! |

The battles between Simmons and ben Elias from Balmain were awesome
Im a Blamin fan, but you have to admire Simmons - practically a one man show down there, without the gloss of the nowadays Fox experts |
