hi all! i'm from newcastle (uk) and i'm a big leeds united fan.. i've been backpacking through australia since nov 2009 and my mam told me she read about this supporters group in the leeds matchday program.. anyway she told me about you guys and here i am!

i'm travelling alone and met people in hostels but i've not met another leeds fan and its so good to find this group!

i return to melbourne on february 12th and i'm looking for a job and hope to stay in melbourne for quite some time.. out of everywhere i've been i love melbourne. it would be so good to meet up to watch a game.. out of everything at home i really miss the footie and going to elland road and the banter with other fans.. be great to have that out here.

Hi mate, welcome! Good to see so many responses from the bit in the matchday programme, had a couple of emails come through aswell.

If we beat Spurs the Bolton game will be on TV and shown in Melbourne on the 14th of Feb (Sunday night). Alot of us Melbourne boys will be in Sydney for the weekend but there still should be quite a few Leeds fans at the pub in Melbourne.

Think at one stage we'll organise a few casual beers and possibly a nightout too, there is lots of new faces we haven't met properly and it'd be good to have a bit of a social thing.

letha there will definitely be a football day when you get back to melbourne so come have a few pints with us and watch a game of local football. the standard is quite good...and by good i mean utter rubbish. it's still a good day out though.

sweet! thanks for the replies.. i sometimes cant get on the internet much so sorry if i take a while to reply.. ah its so great being able to meet up with other fans.. just been reading the email news letter with great interest and my plans have now slightly changed. i'm going back to sydney for a week on feb 3rd so i'm going to try find cheers bar to come watch the spurs game with some of you hopefully. i soo cant wait! can u wear footie shirts in there? i'll def wear mine if u can.. i'm in sydney for about a week before i head back to melbourne so i should be able to come watch the bolton game too aslong as leeds get through i'm sure! my mum is so pleased i've found some other fans too lol!
