Hey guys,
Thinking how much I miss outdoor during the summer so I thought I might get off my ass and organise a weekly kick around? Anyone interested? Would be good to get 'Leeds Service Crew' running around consistantly outdoor.
What I was thinking basically was:
7-a-side
2x25 minute halves
Monday nights 6.00-8.00 @ Princess Park, Carlton
5 bucks a game to pay for ref (will most likely be ho banging (danny kerr to you blokes!))
Maybe 4 team league to start off with, then depending on popularity could open it up but thats a looong time away.
Let me know, if you wanna help me out that'd be great...If I can get four teams I would start it first monday of the new year...
What do you think? You dont have to play every week, if we can organise a squad of about 11 then we could rotate it accordingly.
Fuck I love football, I just need an excuse to get out there more often! |

Excellent idea Liam, I probably wouldn't play every game but would definately put my name down.
Im currently playing Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays so I think I can squeeze a Monday session in  |

We dont HAVE to put LSC in, we could each do a team with our own mates? Are Peaking FC interested? I know alot of my mates are interested, and once I chuck this on the darkside then the other two spots will snap up quick I imagine...
Im hoping to get OzSpurs and Trojan Athletic too play, but havent told them yet... |

I'd say Ross would be close to a definate if I play. Can't be sure about any of the other boys. I'll join whoevers team who wants me. Just hope if you post it in the Darkside it doesn't get hijacked by wankers |

If we can get a squad of around 11 then it will be possible to work it out so that if people cant make it we will have adequate fill ins.
Darkside is the last resort and will probly be for the last team, but I might just ask people privately. |

Because I'm planning to make it a bit of a league, saturday is hit and miss because some people will have their own football, obligations etc...
I thought monday would be good because no one seems to train or play on that day any time through the year, and because its summer, it wouldnt be as hot at twilight time. |
