What a contrasting amount of teams in the championship this year. From teams like Leeds United, Sunderland and Birmingham to teams like Colchester, Southend and Luton Town. Should be a very interesting season.

Teams in the mix to go up would be Birmingham, Westbrom, Sunderland, Leeds, Leicester, Wolverhampton and Coventry. Teams in danger of immediate relegation would be Southend, Colchester, Burnley and Luton.

There are some good players playing in the league this year, the quality definitely improves year by year. I cant wait, especcially with the news of coverage on foxtel this year.

I have a horrible feeling that after all the positive talk of going up, the sale of hulse and the trialling of geriatrics, we will fail miserably.

Hope not tho.. Smile

I still contest we have a great chance this year. Forget last year, that was easily our best chance to go up but this year has to be do-able. We need a great start. As said all top team in first 9-10 weeks and an easy run-in.

Our midfield id hard without much flair but I dont care much how we play as long as we are out of this division. THEN WITH THE WORLD WATCHING I WILL CARE. Saying that we have to play through midfield and flanks and not over their heads.

Our deffence looks good if Foxe & Killa stay (I think Butler needs to be retired off) The left flank will be stronger as I see Livermore playing out of there. Pity young Parker has gone on loan, we need to be blooding him in more.

Forwards we have plenty but no real star! Each could be a star but none seem to want that mantle.

The keeper for me needs attention, Sulli needs support so Wilbereforce or other needs securing, heard Carson may be back on loan?

I feel the biggest thing missing is CONFIDENCE, and the lethargy left from last seasons dissapointment. And I know I am in the minority but I dont see KB providing that confidence.

Ian.
