Welcome mate. Normally the board is a bit busier than it has been over recent days but it's been Xmas etc.
The guys in Sydney are meeting up for the Scum match - details will be posted here later tonight. Enjoy your stay in Oz! |

Well I'm a die-hard Victory supporter, a member of BWB Youth. I used to support Leeds when I was younger in the days of Paul Robinson, Harry Kewell, Rio Ferdinand, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Alan Smith etc.
After they were relegated I wasn't sure what to do. I was young and I didn't know I could still support a relagated team, then I got a Manchester United shirt (don't hate me ) and it went from there. Since then I've supporter Man U then Tottenham but never really found my place so this season I've just been watching the EPL as a neutral.
I've since realised that thanks to Fox Sports (rare but it's there) Championship Coverage I could go back to my first English club - Leeds.
A little about me - I was born here but have Italian-born parents. I didn't speak English until I was six years old. I've been to Italy twice, the second time I saw a Roma match at the Stadio Olimpico.
My two main clubs are Melbourne Victory and Barcelona and now, hopefully Leeds can be the third.
I play football and have been doing so since I was five years old. I can play in any position on the park comfortably (any position, you name it!) and that includes Goalkeeping which is my second best, if not, best position.
My dream is to become an A-League and possibly even a World Cup commentator.
Welcome masterchief, enjoy your stay |

Heyall,
I was around 6 -7 years ago when we tried to get a branch of the supporters club going after the LUFC game at Ethiad. Kind of died in the arse once we got relegated, everyone lost interest and i didnt think anything would happen again, until on the piss last night i saw a guy in a LUFC shirt. Being a friendly sort of guy i couldnt help but say g'day, anyway turns out he is an aussie who lived in Leeds and tells me all about this website. Looks like I will be turning up Sunday night....was lucky enough to see LUFC vs Norwich when went back for a holiday in October, first game at Elland road for 12 years. Shame the nazi stewards stopped me taking any picks once the game was on.
Anyway I am a huge Leeds Rhino fan and Strom member so got a lot to look forward to this year, what having premierships for my 2 RL teams and promotion for LUFC.
Beeston born and bred, used to go to school overlooking Elland road, moved to Oz 10 years ago.Still remember being half way up the statue of the black prince the day the city celebrated winning the div 1 title in 92, shame it didnt last but least we beat the scum to it |

Hi all.
Long time reader, first time poster. I suppose you can say Leeds is in my blood. Although I'm born and bred a Victorian and grew up and still love AFL my Grandparents and my Mother are from Leeds. My Grandfather used to go to Elland rd every week to watch Leeds in the 50/60's before they moved out here.
When we got Pay TV in the late 90's and being a young fella back then I used to find myself getting home at prime EPL viewing time. As Leeds had Viduka and Kewell playing then I always took an interest in them and would watch games that Leeds played. Then there was the games where Viduka scored 4 against Liverpool and I was hooked on Leeds.
Relegation came and so did the A league and the WC qualifier against UR-Gay. As I was living in Sydney at the time I got a ticket to that game and I have never looked back. What a great game this Football is. How good is the crowd?
It was probably about then when I was told of my late Grandfathers love of Leeds and how much that club meant to him. I knew he followed Leeds but didn't know how much he loved them.
Another relegation followed and that's when I became really passionate about Leeds. Riding the heartbreak of the playoff losses. Nights like last night make up for a fair bit but it won't feel right until we are back in the EPL.
I love it how if you are wearing a Leeds shirt of scarf at a Victory game other Leeds supporters will come up and have a chat to you.
I was out for dinner with family last week and had my Leeds shirt on. My Uncle looked at me and said "I wish your Grandfather could see you now" I spoke to Mum tonight and told her the replay of last nights game was on at 7pm and she said she would sit down and watch it. I know my Grandfather was up there last night singing "Marching on Together"
That's my story on Leeds. Hope it didn't bore you. |

Great story Bert, certainly didn't bore. Love the passion. Are you in Melbourne now yeh or still in Sydney?
Look forward to meeting you at the the Spurs meet up (assuming it's televised). |

Hey peeps
Saw the advertisement on a few Leeds forums which I read quite frequently about the meet ups in Sydney and Melbourne and followed the track a little deeper to find this site.
Been a Leeds supporter since I was about 10, had Man Utd forced down my throat as a kid as most seem to these days but never really fell for all the merchandise instead I asked for and got my first Leeds jersey for my 11th birthday.
Only been to Elland Rd once (2 years ago) it lived to and surpassed all expectations, made me proud to be a Leeds fan. One of the best experiences of my life and can't wait to head back there, hopefully this or next year and hang around for a few more games this time.
Oh yeah and I live in Sydney, best city in Australia |
