Had a pretty good time considering i arrived 10 mins before kick-off and left 10 mins after final whistle due to work and a 21st.
Saw the group starting to build up around the sydney area, and new it was gonna happen. In 4 weeks we play adelaide at home. Its a sure bet that if we dont get 3 points the same shit will happen.
To me the problem is not those who gather there. Its that the cops dont know how to handle it.

Kenner as for seperate toilets and bar for away fans, i doubt thats needed. The bar and pissers i went to always had 50-50 sydney-melbourne fans but it was always relaxed.
The problem is after the game.

yeh it was mainly to point out that the cops need to be pro active and not wait for shit to happen.. if it means seperating the supporters completely to keep them apart - before/game/after then so be it...

off topic a little i read in the paper one melb or maybe syd fan has been hit with a life ban, but it said since the start of the a-league.... when did this happen and was it a known victory fan??

The cops have no idea and it appears they are not interested in improving their 'performance.' However, all those little cunts who stand in a big mob and act all hrad around the away supporters area are fucking scum. There was a time when i probably would've agreed with you and said it was just a pack of kids having fun. But they're not, they drag the reputation of my club and city through the mud. If they really wanted some 'action' they could sort it out with the opposition who were up for it and meet in some park in south yarra or something, away from the media and families.

Whilst everyone is going on about how the media are misrepresenting what happend, how someone from sydney attack a tram and so on the fact of the matter is we have a sub-culture in our club that tolerates these parasites.

Engage in 'banter' (if there is such a thing against syd.) during the game, but once the game is over goto a pub, go home whatever, no need to stand in a pack with the odd fucker throwing a bottle/flare at them whilst you are in safety behind the plods/rent-a-cops.

Just because I don't post as James anymore, I can't have an opinion? I don't post as James simply because plenty of people in the media are reading that forum and it doesn't look good if users are talking about me on SEN and then I come in and call people fucking cunts etc...I'm there for a bit of fun.

For mine, that part of the South end is a complete wankoff and I know I'm not the only one here that thinks that. It's my opinion and sure you don't have to agree with me - but it's what I think and forums are all about people voicing themselves.

ahh jimmy the pitfalls of media stardom.

They are mostly older people and have been mates for a while. Alot of married couples who have come to live in Australia and some fucking good people in there. They all love a drink as well, which is why I love them.

If you dont like the thread and the people in it I suggest you dont post coz It'll fire me up everytime. If you were someone who stood in the ST every week then you would be entitled to an opinion on how it is run and who goes about doing so. Otherwise, to me, you're just another person looking to stir a few people up for the wrong reasons.

A few posts ago you told everyone how you're getting fed up with all the bullshit, well stop adding to it because these people just wanna enjoy themselves and they're definitely not hurting anyone else so let them be.
