Went down this morning to check if we had received any mail for polo shirts etc.. we had none but did have about 10 other things for someone else. Took it all inside and asked what was going on. After some 'robust' discussion I worked out that our box had 'expired' in April and I had not been called despite my request when buying the box for this to occur. Instead they had left a note in the box and when I didn't renew had just turfed the notice out and given the box to someone else.

When I asked why I hadn't been called as requested (I showed the lady the carbon copy of the receipt I received when buying the box with the request clearly marked) the response was 'oh sorry'. They also couldn't give me a reason as to how I was able to open someone else's box with my key, apparently the locks had all been changed but they must have missed this one. Laughing

She then offered me a new box and I said given the above I think I'd give it a miss. For the $60 we paid last year, we only received one or two things in the mail so instead I'm happy to have something like 'to send by post please email for address' and then give them my home address by email.

The lesson in all of this, most brothels are better organised that Australia Post.

No probs Tim. I've taken the postal address off the website as a payment option.

What's the go if someone had of sent off payment last week for the polo (to the PO Box)? Would it have still been in there?

When I checked it today there was stuff dated well back into last week so it seems the new owner hasn't checked it, found our stuff and turfed it out. In the unlikely case they did, the usual thing done is new owner gives old mail to the post office and they return it to sender.
