Hi All.
Moved to Melbourne last Nov.from UK and loving it.Been Leeds for over 30 years and still proud.I think that its even more interesting in the low times and the true supporter still wears the colours.
Also go to STORM and Bombers games.
Could do with a drink soon with some Leeds fans.
Marchin on in League1 |

Hey mate. Great to hear. Welcome to the forum.
We'll have to get you to add Melbourne Victory to the list of teams you follow too. |

Oiii!!!! 103 is not old - its just the feeling you get the morning after you do football training at my age
Anyways - Old age and treachery will always overcome youth and enthusiasm
Plus this lot all drink alco-pops and lite lager beer - Put me pint for pint with em on Teltelys or Smiths and they'll be respectin the old gaffer |

welcome aboard jim, hope you can join us for a few drinks sometime soon. re: the royal melb, seen the club has made it as the official venue or whatever, somewhere i see the club is saying its free for all, and somewehre on the membership brochure entry to the rmh is written like its a benefit of membership.. so no idea whats going on there. nice pub but im sure we can find something else if need be. (perhaps somewhere where they put more than 3 staff on for a gf and stock up on kegs to as to not force us to buy $8 bottled shit) |

Firstly, welcome Jim. Your parents were very very switched on to call you Jim. Top name that.
Are you the Jim I have in my phone book? I do text a Jim every now and then and he seems to be a passionate lad, I think we have a match.
Welcome aboard mate - the more the merrier and great to have some expats on board
Haha at Dave and Timmy. Suuuuuuuuuuuuperb day.
I'm not a massive fan of the RMH, and can't really see it being the pub en masse so to speak because kids wont be allowed in and the Ozspurs issue with Bwb.... |

I don't get you here Jimmy, the bwb use the great western and i don't think they'd change just cos rmh is now 'official'?? anyway, plenty of good pubs in melb, as long as the queues aren't too big and pints are reasonable im happy. |

The Royal is not far from the stadium, on Bourke St. Certainly is a bit tamer over here compared to overseas although the semi-final against adelaide was good fun from where we were standing. Unfortunately always have some dicks who try to prove they are hard by standing outside the stadium and banging on the gates after the game if there are any away supporters. intimidating stuff |

Thought it may have been you
Good lad - for everyone else's info, JIM sung MOT with us before the semi-final against Adelaide
Really shattered I can't make Friday - we need to get membership packages out soon...I might try and make a brochure if I can get Dave's help with the design and we could poss send it to all people on our database? |

I reckon it's a top pub. I'm hoping it stays the same as last year. Start off at GW, which might not be the greatest pub but is awesome when full (also allows the young-ins to get in). Then head to RMH when it opens later on. Best of both. |
