Last night was really good. Cheers to all who made it down. Not a bad pub at all and was good with the chairs / couches up-stairs.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Basically this is what was discussed / decided:
- Membership for this season will be FREE for everyone. So soon we will be sending emails to everyone on our database encouraging them to sign-up and become a member.
- Regular emails will be sent out to members throughout the coming season. Not everyone who follows the club will be as fanatical or internet savvy as say some of us are so it's a good way to keep interest in Leeds up and to keep all of our members informed of what's happening with the team and also our supporter club.
- LUSCV polo shirts will be sold separately from the memberships. Anyone who wishes to purchase one will need to pay and send their details by a yet to be determined date. Then 1 batch of the polos will be ordered and distributed to the members.
If you buy a LUSCV polo, you will go into a raffle to win a 2006 LUSC Annual Dinner and Dance program signed by Eddie Gray and Rob Hulse. The raffle will be drawn and announced at one of the get-togethers mentioned below.
- Regular get-togethers (say once a month) will be organised down at a pub to watch highlights packages from either LUTV or other internet highlights videos that we can find. Allows members who don't have access to highlights to watch the team play and of course will be great to watch the games with other Leeds fans (and yes James, we can sing a few songs ).
Sammy, that DVD you brought to the Preston game earlier in the year seemed really good quality. We could perhaps get all the highlights together from the previous month and get you to burn it onto a DVD for us?
- Pete (LS11) will comment about the Members Club / Supporters Club discussion from last night. |

Hopefully some will be available from forums otherwise we could just use LUTV. I'll speak to you about that over MSN. |

again apologies about the the no show, girlfriends are useless things
sounds like you boys had everything covered anyway
in regards to highlights, i wonder if leeds home games will still be shown live in scandenavia, if it is, home games can be bought on ebay the week following a home game
If members want older games, season reviews etc, im attempting to build up a nice little collection here and will happily burn for any member of LUV |

good to hear boys, glad it all went well, disappointed i couldnt be there. actually thats a lie, a mental pre-match starting at about 4 at the great western and various other spots, hawkers by 100! too fucking easy!!!!
hahah but in all seriousness good to hear. i was always for the supporters club and if the members club want 10 memberships before they tell us they'll send us a pair of leeds boxers each they can fuck right off. agree with all the ideas, think we need to stay in contact as a group a bit more often.... |

not having a go at you morleyboy...
but in that case as you say, not sure of all the other lads but i think we'd all be interested ... just to see what they have to offer. doesnt mean i will automatically become a member of the members club but i'd love to see their offer. so if it works like that put me down as an interested person just i dont wanna pay money and then find out we are getting screwed. |
