Leeds chants and flags are a must.
I'll try and see if I can get in touch with their management over the next few days about getting them the shirts. How many do we have left Dave? |

I have been in touch with the manager of the band and it looks like a few of us will get to meet the chiefs. cannot fucking wait! here's word from the band manager...pretty much i just explained it all to him and said we'd love to be able to meet the band before the gig, give them shirts and make them honourary members, and get a few pics...
----
Hi James --- Absolutely, we’ll try to sort this.
Please get in touch nearer the time and we’ll work out the logistics.
Look forward to seeing you in Melbourne
Cheers
James

Didn't realise te Kaisers were big in Australia. Great band, and loved by all the Leeds fans obviously. They played infront of the Kop before they made it big, and have been Elland Road legends ever since.
The name helps also... For anyone that hadn't realised, they're named after the South African team we bought Lucas Radebe from.
Don't know if you've heard of a band called The Pigeon Detectives (mad name i know), but theyre also from Leeds and starting to make waves over here. They've just released a single called 'I'm Not Sorry' and their new album... You can hear it all on their Myspace Only registered users can see links on this forum! Register or Login on forum! |

I just listened to the songs then. Not bad at all. The fact they're from Leeds is even better. |

I haven't no mate, although if they're emo, it's not my thing. I'm into Indie/Rock.... The Cribs are from Wakey though... Theyre good. Supported Kaisers a while back.

Yeah. Most are expecting them to be the biggest band this year, but that'll become clear after the festival season |

OK, time to report back. Been chatting with the Chiefs manager and the following names are on the guestlist are:
Myself
Dave McCabe
Chris Kenner
Liam Carolan
Sam Uhe
Our names will all be down on the Kaiser Chiefs guestlist that will be held at the box office at Festival Hall. No passes or tickets involved, we just have to the guestlist entrance - which is next door to the box office and our names will be on the Chiefs list, getting us into the gig and backstage etc.
So we're all in for free. PLEASE if you are going to sell your ticket, donate the funds to Leeds United Victoria - we need the money to help with something planned for later on in the year, so go eBay, scalp it off and funds into LUV.
That's pretty much it, this is going to fucking awesome. Also a note, everyone please wear a Leeds shirt for the photo, the Chiefs will be wearing their LUV polos, so if we all want to go in the polos or just different Leeds shirts that'd be great.
