This is officially official people! 
I went down to Dickens after work tonight and everything is hooked up. The link was not working by the time I got there but it was working earlier on which apparently looked fine.
The computer screen was displayed on the plasma when I headed down and it looks sharp! Will be no problems.
We pretty much have the pub to ourselves on Sunday night. The match will be shown on all 4 plasma screens and we also have the option to use the projector screen if we wish.
I'm going to lock the other 2 threads (regarding meet-ups) so we don't have numerous going on the same subject.

just realised only other thing that could happen at dickens this week given all seasons are over
formula 1
and of course its fuckin on sunday night
they get a few down there...40-50...depending on times
ch 10 is showing monaco gp 2240-0040
not good
i realise we'll still get a crowd
but dont picture an empty dickens for us or a closed bar for leeds only
we wont have all 4 tvs at the start, but that was beyond expectations
this just means we should get there early, mark our territory and get the tvs we want
if theres enough of us watching the replays b4 the GP starts we'll keep the main TV |

I don't think anyone is expecting that.
Ivo told me tonight we can have all 4 tv's as there is nothing else he is showing that night. We'll be there early anyway, wouldn't worry about it. |

Good work dave and everyone else involved but fucking hell, the ferrari knobs were there another time we were on.. never seen a more ordinary bunch of blokes to be honest, the manure of f1. Anyhow, looking forward to it, will be best place to watch the game outside of wembley. |

You seriously think the Monaco GP will be a threat to a Leeds play off final at the dickens!?
Ivo has promised us not only the main TV, but all of 4 or 5 of them!
The GP will be on at EVERY other sports bar in Melbourne, if the 10 or so people who rock up at the Dickens to watch the race get overwhelmed then they have a plethora of other options to chose from.
There will be 50+ of us so it wont make the slightest difference.
Its an open pub which means it'd never be closed to Leeds fans, and personally I welcome anyone who wants to watch a meaningful game of footy.
If the atmosphere is anywhere as good as it was against Watford (when we lost!) then I'll be a happy man. |
