for Melbournewhiteblue!!!
Trivia time people, ask some sort of trivia question for all to answer. Anything you can think of, doesnt have to be sport. I will start it off:
On Sunday June 6th 1999, history was made at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Tony "Plugger" Lockett entered the record books as the highest goal scorer in V.F.L./A.F.L. history.
By kicking 'that goal' after the final siren, Plugger had how many goals to his name? And who's 62 year-old record did he break?? |

Had to start off with a question like this didn't we.
He broke the legendary Gordon Coventry's record against the team Coventry played for. Collingwood.
It was 1300 Goals.
Also, without being a smartarse, I'm pretty sure he kicked it after the quarter time siren.
What do I win???
Would everyone prefer to have this as a section rather than a thread? |

As you can see, I have made a new section for trivia.
So from now on, after Melbournewhiteblue's question is answered, may aswell start a new thread for each question. |

deffo wimbledon & scousers, i think the one against the bindippers was where he smashed it on the volley, against wimbledon he sort of ran past a few blokes then flicked it up to himself and put it in. |

Next trivia Question is very easy and a two parter
MUNICH - relates to a scum tragedy where a number of players were killed in an aeroplane crash - certain members of Leeds supporters used to sing MUNICH at them whenever they had the chance - Thankfully this is slowly being eradicated, but for your history lesson
A. What does MUNICH stand for and why?
B. What song used to be sung at Scum fans about MUNICH
2nd Question. Paris 1975 and WACCOE (not the website, the chant) are intertwined together. Why? What happened? |

Q1 -A not sure
B - Whose that lying on the runway?
2nd q
Leeds v Bayern Munich in Paris (parc des princes, where psg play) in the now known as champions league final
the krauts paid the ref off, think we had a good goal ruled offside and so on. v dodgy business. after we 'lost' the fans rightly go off and cause a bit of mayhem. hence the chant we are the champions champions of europe, personally one of my favourite chants as got a good rhythm to it and imho helps the players get a tempo. |
