I know there are various threads about it but I can't work out if any decision has been made. Ian and I (and I'll ask another mate as well) were thinking of heading down South if there is a get together (and we are welcome to join it).

So could you let us know if and when and where anything is happening?

checking out all our avenues at the moment.. we will be trying our best to organise something, hopefully central to make it easy for everyone.. We know we can get the link via the net and maybe put it on a plasma.. but we are hoping one of the cable networks picks it up.. as soon as we know will post it on the forum..

I've been looking at some flights - Jet Star only go to Avalon airport. Is that far from the city? Is it further than Tullamerine?

it is much further..around 40-50km west of the city
however they have a bus that runs from avalon to Southern Cross station(where telstra dome is) for $20 return last time i checked

basically everything is ready to go on their laptop (the footyonline programing)
dave just gonna give it a full test run tomorrow by connecting the laptop to tv
we'll be connecting it in his office which basically means we can put the game on every TV

Considering we packed out both the Celtic Club and Dickens for the last final, would it be wise to just promote this to our Leeds Vic database? Or should we be posting about it everywhere (forums etc)? First in first served? Dickens can only fit so many people.

2nd leg torrent hasnt been upped yet, I downloaded the game off some guy on WACCOE but the quality is shite but I should have the DVD of the game by next week.
