Dear Subscriber

On behalf of all at Leeds United I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your ongoing subscription to LUTV

As you may be aware, we are planning some major changes to the service that we offer and these will be on offer from July 1 2008.

A substantial investment is being made into LUTV and from July we shall have a team of four dedicated members of staff, based at a new state of the art studio in the West Stand. This will be the first time the club has invested so heavily in LUTV.

What does this mean for you? Well for starters, the service will vastly improve. Since its first re-launch in January 2007 we have been reliant on exterior companies providing us with match highlights and, unfortunately, this hasn’t always met with the standards we expect, either in terms of length, quality, or delivery time.

From July, all our highlights packages will now be produced in-house and will be available 24 hours after the game has finished (this is the earliest we can show them due to The Football League’s broadcasting rights).

You will have a choice of highlights package and all will come with commentary. We shall also be launching a new matchday show to enhance your experience while listening to the commentary on a match day.

Our team of professionals will also be producing a new daily news show, interviews, press conferences, a new preview show, more archive features, and highlights packages from both reserves and (where possible) Academy matches. We also hope to continue our live coverage of our reserves home fixtures

In short, 2008/09 promises to be an exciting time for LUTV and with a team of staff working on the channel for the first time, we are confident we can deliver a new and attractive package.

Subscriptions are to be increased from June 1 to £40 per year or £4.99 per month. We hope you will agree that this is a small price to pay when you see the improved product.

It all starts for us in pre-season, and we hope you will be there to join us with the most comprehensive coverage ever available.

Thanks once again for your continued support.

wish they would comentate on the game though..
i.e prutton down right flank etc in lieu of general bollock after the event. Half the time you are unaware whether its a corner to us or them, whether we are kicking towards kop or SS,
Still looking forward to it.

Also, lets see how much Mr Bates ups the subscription fee by. Wouldn't surprise if it costs more next season to cover this "substantial investment".

Should do a Daims, and just edit your post and say "What are you talking about?"

Looking forward to the finished re-design. Long overdue and going by the sneak peak, looks pretty sweet!

NEW LUTV

The new LUTV console will be launched towards the end of July - and here is your first sneak preview.

The new user-friendlu console will offer easier navigation and more choice of content.

While the console is in the final stages of re-design new content is now available for subscribers.

Showing now we have Gary McAllister on the summer, see Andy Hughes running blindfolded at the Vision 5k race, and Gordon Strachan speaks exclusively to LUTV at Gary Mac's Charity Day Golf Day.

All are available on the news channel.

And, coming up on Friday afternoon, you can see the players in training on their first day back with a special report from Thorp Arch.
