Ill have an attempt at giving some sort of ratings:

Casper - 7/10 - Looked alot safer than in the first leg, and made some good saves. His distribution isn't the greatest and the players know that so he opts for the short option alot, which works well. Can't really fault him otherwise.

Johnno & Fraser 8/10 - Were put under the pump time & time again due to Carlisles obsession with getting players wide and crossing the ball in, but can hold their heads up high. Always under pressure but very rarely lost a contest. When they had to, they cleared the ball away and when able to they kept possession and worked 1-2's with the CB's greatly. Frazer going forward adds alot, in the end he could have easily just banged balls into the penalty area but he held it up, played some good passes between him, Pruts and Kilkenny and very nearly unlocked their defence with some classic "Non League One" football.
Johnno playing out of position was brilliant. Its very hard being an attacking player and being forced to play as a defender and stop your urge to go forward and score goals but Johnno sacrificed his game for the team and was very solid in defence, including that great glancing header away from Hackneys cross.

Lubo & Huntington 7/10 - As stated, Carlisles obsession with the wings meant these guys job would always be about controlling the penalty area instead of containing their strikers and playing offside. Both looked very at home with this style, mopping up any ball that got passed the fullbacks and working the ball well between each other out of defence. Lubo still has a tendancy to hoof the ball but thats just the way he is & in this league, it can be more effective. Was lucky the Ref was a good one and waved away the shouts for a penalty off Lubos tackle, which from the naked eye looked like a penalty, but replays show he got the ball first, brilliant decision (and tackle I guess!)

Johno Douglas - 8/10 - WOW, what a turnaround!! I thought he was pretty poor in the first leg, but he was awesome in this game. Playing a deep midfield role in order to protect Lubo and Paul, he was incredible. Broke up play after play as their midfield found it very hard to get close to our defenders let alone have a few shots (hence their 8 shots for the whole game). His tackling was great, he is bound to give away a few free kicks but luckily their set pieces were poor. Definately the role for him, much more damaging in the defensive 3rd than going forward.

Jonny Howson - 9/10 - The hero, 2 wonderful goals. He really has a great sense of when to get forward and where to be, and such composure for a youngster aswell. It really is a dream isn't it? Homegrown lad, born n bred, scoring a double. Lets hope no other clubs were watching.
He still fades in & out at times but alot of players do, he links up will with Kilkenny and his style is pass and move, which is brilliant. Will only get better & better.

David Prutton - 8/10 - I was really impressed and just how good of a tackler he is. His timing was incredible yesterday and won the ball on numerous occasions. He's a bit limited as to what he can do, and isn't in the Kilkenny-Howson mold but still a vital part of the midfield. Adds a physical edge and is very fit. His crossing is a bit Jekyll & Hyde but produces some great ones everyone now n then. Obviously has been given license to shoot, and for his sake I hope one of them flies in. He always demands the ball which is a sign of a good midfielder.

Neil Kilkenny - 9/10 - Love this bloke, always wants the ball, always competes for the ball and is not scared to stop and have a look around for options. I thought he was outstanding, the orchestrator of all of our attacks and his skills are fantastic. I remember him getting surrounded by 3 Carlisle players only to turn, find a way out and dribble 20 yards with the ball. Had a decent effort on goal caught by Westwood and was linking up with Freedman and Becks well, with that little pass into the corner of the box working well everytime. If Becks could finish in Leg 1, he would have been MoM by far. Very important that he plays well in the final, because that one killer ball & Becks pace could get us promoted.

Becks - 6/10 - Struggled to get into the game, and had that angry pout look on his face most of the time. I can't deny him a shot at goal if he wants it, as his record speaks for itself but sometimes he has that tunnel vision that cannot see players free to pass to. Is probably not fully fit, so can excuse him a bit, hopefully will be better for the run come final, and he's due a cracking goal!
He failed to pick up on a few runs Dougie tried to put him on. If he can make some intelligent runs, Dougie will pick him out, don't you worry about that. Could learn so much off Freedman if he is willing to.

Dougie Freedman - 9/10 - Such a clever player, plays slightly behind Becks and always knows what he's going to do with the ball before he gets it. Teammates are starting the read him and its paying off. Creates space by drawing defenders then laying the ball off Eg. Howsons 2nd goal. As Dave as stated, signing of the year and so easy to see why Palace fans treat him as a god. Vital player in the final, capable of anything and won't have Westwood to deal with in goals!

Tresor Kandol - 10/10 - Because he didn't come on.

nice round up sammy...

id prob give becks a 4/10, his lack of awareness of other players and ability to drop back a get into the game was frustrating.. and then when he did have shots on goal they didnt even bring the keeper into making a save. Just not his night... but he knows how to make up for it!!!
