What a win, what a win, from about 2am this morning i have not been able to sleep, when he scored the first i was pumped but he scored the second i was so mixed with so much passion and love for the mighty Whites. i had a feeling we would win 0-2, as much so i went to the Tab last night and put $20 on it with the nice price of 14-1 so i cant complain. Did a 'Ryan' Thought I would work my way the night then have a few strong coffees.. instead fell asleep at around 3.30... and work up around 6.50, felt sick in my stomach while i was waiting for the score to load.. will have to find a torrent of the game, quietly confident for the big one. |

12:30am, just got home and I'm still buzzing!
What an awesome day this has been. This mornings match has given me the most joy out of any sporting moment I can remember!
What a performance from the lads. Our defence was the complete opposite from the 1st leg. Alway looked solid and certain when under pressure.
I thought Frazer and Johnno were immense. Prutton was everywhere and took no prisoners as usual while Kilkenny's 2nd half was fantastic. His passing prowess is awesome.
Beck's looked a little off the pace all night and wanted to be the hero every time he got the ball. Hopefully he'll be raring to go come the final.
Dougie Freedman is clearly the signing of the season. What a difference he's made to this squad. His quality is invaluable at this level and some of his play is so intelligent ala his little flick to set up the winner.
Howson's finishes were first class.
Gary Mac's turned our side into a very solid football team. Some of the passing, one two's, movement and interplay between the mids and forwards especially in that 2nd half was fantastic to watch. Can't remember the last time I saw that.
While this game will long be remembered, I can't help but thinking back to our last play-off final. I'm a lot more confident this time around but we still have a lot of hard work to do.
I can't wait to hear 40,000 Leeds fans singing "15 points who gives a fuck" under the Wembley roof! Will be magic! |
